Grant Application to Monroe County Sheriff’s Foundation, Inc. (MCSF)

MCSF MISSION
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Foundation (MCSF) is a community-based not for profit organization whose mission is simple: To provide financial support to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and local law enforcement for special projects and equipment that cannot be supported solely by Monroe County tax dollars—especially those directly affecting the safety and wellbeing of our community.

GRANT REQUIREMENTS
In keeping to its mission, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Foundation (MCSF) focuses its grant funding on programs initiated or supported by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO). Our organization does not sponsor community events, projects or other funding needs that fall outside of this realm.

Grant applications for funding must meet one of the following funding priorities:

  1.  Youth, Community and Public Safety Programs supported by MCSO
  2. Advanced Law Enforcement (LE) related Equipment and Technology
  3. LE Wellness and Morale
  4. LE Professional Development & Training
  5. LE K-9s and Mounted Unit Horses, associated care & equipment
  6. LE Memorials and Fallen LE Personnel (Monroe County, NY)

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Foundation does NOT fund salaries, weapons, or ammunition.

As a 501(c)(3) organization the MCSF is absolutely prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office.
